Kahoot!

 Kahoot! is an educational response system that is free to use! Kahoot! is an amazing tool for informally assessing your students.The best thing about Kahoot! is that it can be used with any device (not just iPads). Creating a kindergarten Kahoot! is fun and easy. You can create your own quizzes, or you can use some of the public quizzes already made on the Kahoot! site. 

How it works

- The teacher displays the Kahoot! quiz on the whiteboard using the projector or SMART board. 

- The Kahoot! game that the teacher chooses will give a code made of a  group of numbers. 

- The students open the Kahoot! app on their iPads.

- The teacher will have the students enter the unique code for their game. 

-The Kahoot! game will ask for the students nickname. 

** This name will be displayed on the projected screen as their log in name. 

- After everyone is signed in the teacher can begin the game. 

-The quiz questions will be displayed on the whiteboard or SMART board. 

- The students' iPads will be their answer key.

-Four shapes and colors match to the answers. 

-The main computer will project the results, and the order in which the students finish their response. 

- This is a fun and engaging tool!

AR Flash Cards

I love augmented reality apps! They are so cool! I am totally geeking out over AR Flash Cards. AR Flash Cards is a FREE Augmented Reality app. All you have to do is download the free flashcards, print them in color and use the free app. To begin open the app and click on "get started" and the camera viewer opens. When you touch the screen on top of the animal or card it also tells you the letter name and animal. Tips to Remember:

1. Place Flashcards where there is good, even lighting. Avoid Shadows.

2. Make sure to keep the whole flashcard in view to avoid losing sight of the animal.

3. Don’t forget to touch the animals and the planets! You will hear the letter and the animal name!
